This year’s social events calendar started off with a golf day held in March at Northbridge GC. A choice of 18 hole Stableford or 9 hole Ambrose was offered. The first place Ambrose team consisted of Bruce Tomlinson, Paul Raih, George Zhu and Ben Garland, outdoing their performance of third place at the previous golf day. First place individual in the 18-hole event went to Rob Angus; the first place 2BBB team was Rob Angus and Ward Horsnell.

FactSet was the major prize sponsor and provided prizes of $500 in DJ vouchers. Reuters sponsored bags and golf umbrellas as secondary prizes. The $100 business card draw was won by Allan Polley. A charity raffle was held for the Lupus Association of NSW with proceeds of $159 raised. Bridgestone Golf kindly donated the main prize, a Precept golf bag, won by Lucien Hardman.
